This sealed beam housing unit is made with heat resistant high impact plastic to withstand high output aftermarket 12V halogen light bulbs for long lasting use. It also changes the factory headlight units to a composite replaceable H4 bulb model with both high beam and low beam in one bulb for easy bulb replacement, or changing to different color light bulbs. If the light bulb ever burn out, all you have to do is change the bulb itself and do not have to buy the whole sealed beam unit again.
